The Gods at Sex.

In the beginning, God created sex and saw that it was good, and blessed it, and made it His special gift and offer to man in marriage. It was like “now that you two have decided to come together to love, support and be there for each other, receive this m3y priceless gift.” But the serpent strolled by and said “since the gift is already available, why wait till you get married before you unwrap it?” But you see, he didn’t say that the moment you do, you would get tempted to start using the gift, so that by the time you get married, there would be no more wow gift from God to you for your enjoyment again. God was not the problem, Satan isn’t; you are.

When single, the devil would do everything to ensure that you have sex. But when you get married, the period that you are supposed to have and enjoy unlimited, unrestricted (but with some exceptions and boundaries) sex with your spouse, the devil would do everything to ensure that you do not have even kiss.

“You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High...” says Psalm 82:6 and John 10:34. As gods, we have principles, ethics and guidelines, so that even Jehovah is guided by the boundaries of His word, holiness and righteousness. That “Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure (Titus 1:15)” does not mean that because we are pure, everything we do is automatically proper and in line with our wiring.

Having an understanding of your God-nature becomes a guiding force as to how to lead your life so, that by that standard it becomes sin against one’s own god-self to have sex outside the commitment and vows of marriage (1Corinthians 6:16-17). Much more, it becomes to such a god for him to make the solemn and sacred covenant of marriage and refuse to enjoy all his rights, privileges and the splendor of sex offered in marriage.

Are you single? You are a god, one that is building up and mastering the fire of his sexual passion, grooming his mind and emotions to be able to control his sexual drives like wild harmattan fire in a gas stove. Are you married, then burn for your spouse, burn for your God, be that god that you are.

I doubt if there is a greater fire that man is born with than the fire to be sexually satisfied, ranking as much as he needs power and money, if not even more. Jesus is described in the Revelations of John as the Lion and the Lamb. We then, when single, are lamb gods, sexually; meek, mild, and coordinated but with our spouses, we become the lion that is bold to traverse, explore and get his fill. Ye are gods.
